U.S. Builds Giant Wooden Taco to Outsmart Mexico After Deportation Denial
In an audacious attempt to address immigration challenges, the United States has constructed a colossal wooden taco and rolled it to the Mexican border under the guise of goodwill. The 30-foot-tall structure, dubbed the “Taco of Freedom,” was hollowed out and filled with deported illegal immigrants, aiming to mirror the cunning of the ancient Trojan Horse. “It’s genius,” said an anonymous DHS official. “Who could resist a taco, especially one this big?” The plan took shape after Mexico refused to accept a plane full of deported illegals the prior day.
The taco’s construction was a masterpiece of culinary mimicry: a plywood shell, green tarp lettuce, and oversized Styrofoam tomatoes. Despite the project’s $3 billion price tag and delays rivaling those of California’s bullet train, its rollout was hailed as a creative solution to Mexico’s refusal to accept a plane full of deportees last week. The U.S. Border Patrol left the taco at the border with a note reading, “A gift from your northern friends!”
The plan unfolded perfectly. Mexican authorities, enchanted by the massive taco and assuming it was a diplomatic gesture, wheeled it into a central plaza in Mexico City for display. Local officials praised the U.S. for the “delicious symbol of friendship.” Days later, after the taco had become a tourist attraction, the human cargo emerged under cover of night and quietly dispersed into the local population. By the time Mexican authorities realized what had happened, the deportees had melted seamlessly into communities across the country.
Reactions on social media were overwhelmingly celebratory. Fox News called the operation “a masterstroke of American ingenuity,” while even skeptical outlets like CNN admitted it was “a bizarrely effective solution.” Memes flooded the internet, with captions like “Freedom tastes better with guac” and “This taco’s got bite.”
With the success of the Trojan Taco, the administration is reportedly considering expanding the strategy with other food-themed tactics, such as a burrito barge and an enchilada-shaped drone. For now, the taco stands as a symbol of unconventional diplomacy—and proof that when it comes to solving problems, America always thinks outside the shell.
