False Alarm: Hurricane Milton Turns Out to Be Snoop Dogg Smoking New Strain of Super Smoky Weed
In an event that left meteorologists, emergency services, and millions of Americans baffled, what was initially believed to be Hurricane Milton barreling toward the East Coast has now been identified as nothing more than Snoop Dogg enjoying a particularly potent strain of super smoky weed.
As radar images showed an ominous cloud formation expanding over Florida, weather experts rushed to issue warnings about the “unprecedented storm.” Citizens were told to shelter in place as swirling clouds of what was described as “dense smoke” filled the air. News outlets across the country sounded the alarm, with headlines reading, “Hurricane Milton Poised to Break Records.” Little did they know, the storm was man-made—by Snoop himself.
“I was just chillin’, doing my thing,” said the rapper in an exclusive interview from his Venice Beach mansion, clearly amused by the chaos. “I had no idea the nation thought I was a natural disaster. But, hey, it’s kind of flattering, right?” Authorities were quick to confirm that the cloud formation wasn’t a Category 5 storm, but rather the after-effects of Snoop trying out his new “Storm’s Fury” strain, specifically bred for maximum smokiness.
The “false hurricane” led to mass evacuations, school closures, and even an appearance from President Biden, who took to the podium to reassure citizens that the government was “monitoring the situation very closely” and promised a swift federal response. “Folks, I’ve seen a lot in my time, but nothing quite like this. We’re mobilizing FEMA as we speak,” said Biden, who reportedly mistook the satellite imagery for an actual atmospheric event.
While most Americans were relieved to find out that Hurricane Milton wasn’t real, many are calling for stricter regulations on high-potency weed strains. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced plans to introduce the “Snoop Act,” which aims to prevent any future “weed storms” from throwing the nation into panic. “Look, I respect a good time, but when your smoke can be mistaken for a natural disaster, it’s time to take action,” DeSantis stated.
At press time, Snoop was reportedly working with leading meteorologists on a plan to harness his weed smoke for climate change mitigation, joking that he’s “finally found a way to make being high a public service.”
