The Department of Defense announced today that they now have a clearer understanding as to why Iran shot down one of their drones in the Middle East. Further investigation uncovered that Iran shot the drone after realizing it was not carrying another billion dollars in cash for them.

“They were pretty pissed to find out that the drone had nothing on board,” said General Mac Burger. “The mullahs apparently got extremely excited about the prospect of another billion dollars to finance terror and chaos and prostitutes, but then they realized nothing was on the plane. And that’s when they decided to fire a missile at it as retribution.”

An anonymous source within Iran’s government confirmed General Burger’s story. The source said some of the mullahs were even doing their “money dance” in celebration of another pallet of cash from the stupid Americans. When they were informed that the drone had no cargo, the mood turned dark. They were embarrassed that they were tricked into doing their “money dance” for no reason and felt they had no choice but to be aggressive and knock the drone out of the sky.
